1988 GIRLS' SOCCER TEAM YEAR OF INDUCTION: 2007 With a balanced representation from the senior through freshman class, the Spartans went 20-1-3 and won the New Jersey Group III State Championship title. It was not a cakewalk to the state title, however, as Steinert played four tournament games, three of which were decided by one goal or less including one that needed double-overtime to produce a winner. They scored a team-high 26 goals and outscored their competition 80-13.
