Mucciarelli, the former three-sport standout, represents the fledgling Steinert athletic programs
of the late 1950s-early 1960s. The former all-star served as captain of baseball, basketball and
football teams during his stellar high school career, which included all-state recognition on the
diamond.
Mucciarelli continued his academic and athletic careers at Trenton Junior College. He continued to
excel, too, winning - what else? - a "triple crown'' - in baseball.
