RYAN PANDOLFINI

CLASS OF '94

YEAR OF INDUCTION: 2012

Ryan Pandolfini earned two varsity letters in baseball and two in basketball. An all-state baseball selection in 1993-94, he helped the Spartans go 49-9 during that span.

Pandolfini was MVP of the Mercer County Tournament as a junior and a senior and also helped the Spartans to Central Jersey championships in 1993 and '94. The '93 group finished as state runner-up and had a Top 25 national ranking.

Pandolfini moved on to Rider University where he was the Northeast Conference Player of the Year and the Rider Athlete of the Year as a sophomore and led his team in batting as a junior before signing a professional contract with the Tampa Bay Devil Rays after being drafted in the 35th round in 1997. He compiled 177 hits and 122 RBI in three seasons, both marks which ranked in the Rider Top 10, while leading the Broncs to a pair of Northeast Conference Championships.

He signed a professional baseball contract with the New Jersey Jackals, an Independent League team, in 1998.

Post-playing career recognition has come in the form of being named to all-decade teams for high school baseball.

In 2004, he opened the Ryan Pandolfini Baseball Academy which provides camps, clinics and private lessons. Pandolfini has coached youth baseball at the high school and American Legion level.

In 2011, he was named interim Athletic Director at Hopewell Valley High School.
